The Restoration series began in 2003, when Faith and Laura decided to write an inspirational fantasy novel for young adults. They wanted to write something that would give hope to readers. Though it began as one book, it quickly developed into a storyline for a series of twelve novels. They have the whole story arch plotted out. Current progress on the books is as follows:
Book 1: Awakenings - published October 15, 2010.
Book 2: The Guardian Race - written and submitted to OakTara for future publication.
Book 3: The Lost Scribe - written and submitted to OakTara for future publication.
Book 4: Binding Ties - currently being written.
